Strategic Representation of Coalitions, Unions, and Community Organizations

We provide strategic legal and policy advice to help organizations achieve their legislative, regulatory and other objectives. Our attorneys have worked nationally, regionally and in Washington State to support grassroots organizations, labor unions, and diverse community alliances on a wide variety of issues. 

For example, we represented the Premera Watch Coalition, a community coalition of patients, physicians, hospitals and health care workers who successfully challenged the proposed for-profit conversion of Premera Blue Cross. See Premera v. Kreidler, 113 Wn. App. 23, 131 P.3d 930 (2006).  In addition to legal representation to the Coalition, our attorneys provided strategic communication, legislative and regulatory advocacy, campaign planning and grassroots organizing support to the coalition.
